Taste festival in Galerija Centrs pre-announces the biggest opening of the year
Already in February, "Galerija Centrs" will become the home of an unprecedented food hall, which will provide a new kind of hospitality and entertainment experience for both residents of Riga and guests of the city. In order to introduce visitors to the atmosphere of the upcoming event, everyone is invited to the first Rīdzenes Street Taste Festival on the January of 18th. There will be an opportunity to enjoy delicious food, sparkling drinks and festival-worthy music.
Arvis Zēmanis, event manager and co-author of the upcoming food and event hall, will take care of a fun atmosphere at the Rīdzenes street taste festival. He will engage guests in activities and challenges: opening oysters for speed, cocktail tastings, challenges to create new burger flavors, and share unique details about the upcoming flavor and event space festival.
“With the first Rīdzenes street taste festival, the shopping center “Galerija Centrs” will become the epicenter of favours in Old Riga. The visitors of this festival will have the opportunity not only to enjoy an festival worthy atmosphere, but also feel a part of the upcoming food hall, which will be located on the 4th floor of the shopping center,” says Sanita Krīgere, manager of the “Galerija Centrs” shopping center.
Rīdzenes street taste festival will be available to visitors from 11.00, but from 17.00 to 23.00, a number of activities and challenges will take place under the guidance of Arvjas Zemans, including a percussion performance and a performance by DJ Aspirins. Entrance to the festival is free.
Along with the opening of the festival, the visitors will have the opportunity to be the first to visit the embassy of the upcoming food hall. Along with the coffee, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the project itself, but during the festival people will get a chance to talk with the authors of the unique concept food hall. It will be located right in the middle of Rīdzenes street and will work until the opening day of the food hall.
The upcoming food hall, which will be located on the 4th floor of the t/c Galerija Centrs, is implemented by the real estate fund "Baltic Horizon Fund", while the unique concept is developed and managed by the real estate management and consulting company "CBRE Baltics".
